At Axiem, we value each and appreciate every employee. We understand that it is essential to support the health and wellbeing of our staff in order to enhance performance. After consideration of the results of our employee survey on how we could improve the work experience at Axiem, we embarked on the Hangout Haven project.
On September 20, 2016, Axiem Corporation’s Senior Management Team, headed by Maryann Farrugia, Managing Director, Mylyn Ferido-Magpantay, Operations Manager, Chris Malong, Business Process Manager and Judd de Leon, our HR Supervisor, officially opened the Hangout Haven. This area is specifically dedicated to employees and provides a place where they can comfortably spend their time during breaks.
The Hangout Haven is a ‘chill-out’ zone filled with bean bags and oversized pillows where employees can rest or take a nap during their break times. This joint company/ employee initiative enhances the work experience, promotes camaraderie and supports the general well-being of every single employee at Axiem.
We would like to thank our employees for their suggestions and input to this project and to members of our Senior Management Team, in particular, the HR Team for working tirelessly to ensure the ‘Hangout Haven’ vision was realized.
